The road in the development of this system has had it’s ups and downs, it’s twists and turns. In Burgerslinger, Kelly allows us a look into her diary detailing part of the journey.
Kelly Karius is a social worker, turned temporary burgerslinger when her relationship ended. This diary details her hope through the grief journey and the search for opportunity. Starting out in grief and ending in joy, these experiences – sad, joyful, funny, will resonate with everyone who has gone through a breakup, a service job…or who just wishes they could be doing something else. A story of strength, the love of friends, and very sore feet.
You are the love of my life.
You bring me joy and comfort.
You put a bounce in my step and a gleam of happiness in my eye.
You ease my pain.
You support me.
When you hurt me, I throw you away.
You are my shoes.
